Anyone hit Geist lately for bass? Any feedback would be appreciated!

Well, I managed to get out on Geist on Saturday and did okay. I was in a small tournament. We managed to bring in 12.2lbs, so it wasn't too bad of a day. Fish were suprisingly shallow (right off the bank) and seemed to hit small jigs and worms off riprap banks with decent depth nearby, especially if any wood was present.
We caught a lot of small fish but we did manage to cull one for our 5 fish limit, with a 5lber as the biggest in our sack. Although we threw cranks and spinnerbaits, did't get one single fish or even bite on them. It was all finesse stuff. Managed to get a decent sized crappie off a small rubber worm as well.
Just thought I share in case anyone thinking of heading out there before winter sets in.
