Also ... take into consideration that we didn't have a normal transition from Summer into Fall. In fact, this whole year has been a bit screwy - weatherwise - and the fishing has been affected by that.
Don't know anything about any leftover submerged structures in Taylorsville, but it wouldn't surprise me any.
You might want to try Herrington Lake ... it's closer to you, the Crappie are bigger, there's no size limit on Crappie there, the creel limit is 30, and it's a bigger lake (with more docks to fish around). It's no easier to pattern, than Taylorsville, but it can be more productive (once you get past the learning curve ... LOL!! )
