Went past the dam last weekend....I wouldnt think you'll see any water released for awhile the entire spillway below the gate was torn out with a dirt dam built up to keep the water from the river from backflowing into the hole they have there, however they did have what looked to be 3 10-12" pipes carrying water out(lol) Man if they where to get a big rain now I dont know what they would do!!!! It would be really bad

From what I understand, they're pretty much going to hold the water all winter. If we get a huge rain and it comes up, then it comes up.

They have to release a certain amount of water to keep the river flowing, but they won't release any more than that until repairs allow it.

It could be at summer pool in the middle of winter.

That ought to make for some good fishin this winter. I just wish I got more pictures when the water was down, but I got a few spots I wanta try. Hopefully there's no big rain or snow melt off and the lake stays arround summer pool or below.

A friend of mine spoke with a gentleman from the corps. He stated that the contractor had 90 days to complete repairs, starting in October and that no water would be released until repairs complete or the water level reached 15 feet above summer pool. I do not know for sure but that is what the gentleman stated. All I know is for me the FISHING ***** at rough. LOL

I saw the work going on below the dam, looks like its going pretty slow. Sure hope the water doesn't get above pool this winter. Would probably cause alot of shore erosion. Thanks for the info guys.
