Like Geo said, it's not hard to clean them. The hardest part for most people is remember how to put everything back where it belong the correct way. If you're not familiar with it then examine it carefully before you start taking it apart. Depends on the condition of the bearing, you might have to replace it. I have a couple of the cheap Quantum and they do the exact same thing with the anti-reverse. I cleaned the heck out of it and still have problem.
