Anyone know how the bass fishing is going on Barren?

Well we changed our minds and headed down to Rough river. My dad and I caught over thirty bass , with the biggest being right at 4 pounds. Caught most of the fish on spinnerbaits and cranks. Jarrod

Fished the Sunday am big fish tournament out of Peninsula yesterday. Had 1 that measured 14 and 7/8" and 3 other shorties. The 2 characters that post as Avalanche and Baby Huey on here won it with a 5.18 LM. Sorry dogs had another one over 4 to back it up. IMO, despite their success, overall the bass fishing is very slow at Barren right now.

The last 4-5 times I've been, a couple of fish with a keeper has been the norm. I decided it's a good time to have my boat motor serviced which I've been putting off.

Overall I would say it was not slow, but those two were the only keepers we had on, but Avalanche had to good ones pull off as well, that we never saw.
