Has anyone been to silver creek before? If u have hows the fishin?? thanks

My buddies and I use to wade it all the time while I was in grad school at EKU. Always had a good time, usually catch good mess of smallmouth (some 2-3lbs) and usaully could hook into a nice largemouth. Summer topwater bite was always fun. I have also fished the mouth of it via boat. I would suggest trying it out. Paint Lick Creek is also good in some spots.

Used to fish IT A LOT....Meathogs ruined it.

fished it some, had its good times and bad. I will pass on the warning that was given to me; snakes can be thick at times and some of the land owners arn't too friendly to strangers, understandably.
