F-n-F Elwood...Surgery Tomorrow

Got a call today from Elwood. He's back in the hospital. He's going under the knife tomorrow. I'll be down there sometimes.

More than likely he'll miss this yrs F-N-F season......

I wish someone could explain to me so that I could understand why they can't seem to get him better.

Billy it may be time for Elwood to go to a special place such as the Mayo clinic or equal to. There is no reason these repeat surgeries are making any sense at all, so therefore I certainly cannot explain to you why they can't get him right. And you are right that is a dang pig for sure and what pretty marked fish too. Hang in there Elwood, best wishes.

Billy I agree with mhall I think Elwwod should try and find a specialist. This poor guy deserves to be healed I feel terrible for him. He needs to be on the Hollow so we can enjoy his post. Tell him I am thinking of him and will keep him in my prayers and thoughts.

Man this really stinks for elwood. Something has to give a somee point in time. Time to find someone who can get to the bottom of the issue for him instead of just prolonging the issue. My best to elwood we are sure pulling for you. Anything we can do to help just give us a yell.

Went down there early this Am for a minute before he went in and BS'ed with him for a minute.

Just came back. He's still in surgery. I sat with his Father, Wife, and Son for a little while before leaving. They're going to call me when he gets out...

UPDATE.......he's out of surgery and in recovery. Everythings fine...

Sending up a prayer for you, Elwood. I know you've been through a lot of these surgeries, and I truly hope this one makes a positive, lasting difference for you. I plan on trying out FnF some time this winter, and I'll be keeping in mind many of your tips on the subject when I do. I can't make this year's gathering, but I hope to be there next year, shake your hand, and maybe even get some tips from you in person. Hang in there.

I'll tell you one thing Road Toad.... If he gets better before the fly season ends, they'll be a bunch of us coming with him to Dale. I ain't going to Dale until he can go.

Our 1st Stop will be at the ONE-Stop....LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know sometimes things just dont work out like they are supposed to.I had prostate surgeryabout 2and a half months ago, the surgery went well, in the recovery room they screwed up, and inflated a catheter ballon in my prostate. Needed a modified procedure a month later, and what was supposd to be a routine procedure for many men, isn't going to work in my case. I was hoping for complete recovery, and its not going to happen, looks like the rest of my life will be spent inserting that awfull thing you know where.That or kidney failure sometimes later. And this was done by a pretty well known specialist.But life goes on. Any of you guys that are staerting to have problems, DONT WAIT TOO LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!
