OK got it, but it isn't the way I'm going to fish!!!! I will use my weighted bobber, but it will be on the main line, slippage? there are twp eyes on these floats.If needed I can always tie a stop knot to keep track of my depth.This is NOT a new concept on deep fishing, we used it in the 80's fishing the power plant discharges on some of the great lakes, but we used noodle rods, and plain white maribou jigs, and were targeting steelhead cohos and brown trout,and 4 lb test was the norm because of the water conditions.some of these trout would easily go over 8 lbs.and every once4 in awhile, one of those huge limber lipped bass would swallow that jig, and then it was pure tedium, waiting for either the line to break, or the hook to pull loose.
