    Unhappy another t-ville update

Dad went there today, didn't catch anything 2 bites, 1 on jig 1 on senko. he don't know how to read the electronics or set them so he couldn't tell the water temp. He said water had a little color and alot of debris in the lake. Almost took my boat out on a railroad cross tie at 55mph which is unusal for him, he's scared to go faster than 20. He also talked to a couple of others at the ramp, they were shut out too. I know it's not much of a report but it sounds like it wasn't much of a fishing trip either..... but sure would have been better than being at work!

Is a trip to t-ville ever a good fishing trip???????
It's ok in the spring but after that not much of a fishery. Excellant waterski resort though. lol

    Re: another t-ville update

I love Taylorsville Lake. I have a fishing hole (about 5 acres in size) where I always catch fish. One rainy morning, my dad and I caught over 100 hybrid striped bass in two hours, as they were in a feeding frenzy on the surface. I also caught the biggest bass of my life here (my dad caught his biggest here too).

I think the factor that makes this fishing hole so productive is:

    (1) Its always filled with giant schools of shad
    (2) It has steep drop-offs but very shallow shorelines
    (3) Most fishermen don't recognize it as a fishing hole

I don't want to give it away, but since I practice catch and release, if you come upon this hole, you'll know it.

DC Chopper - Hey...a report is a report...Your report was just as good as any of the others I ever see on here...at least we know what's going on there, which is lot's of really low water and very little bites. But this in itself may save someone the trouble of trying it out if they were thinking about it...But then too, just like with every report, they're only good for about one hour, because as well all know, if the fish aren't there today they might be there tomorrow and vice versa.

    Thanks for the report!
