You are a funny guy Bob. I am off work this week and checked the weather forecast a few minutes ago. Pretty lousy weather for fishing on my week off. Was feeling kind of unlucky when I checked out your post. It helped me to deal with my bad luck a little better.

I have had my share of bad luck when trying to enjoy my favorite sport of fishing lately as well. Makes me wonder what is going on. I kind of think that there are fewer good days to fish now a days. You have to be able to tolerate more harsh weather conditions if you want to fish. It seems like that the chances of good weather coinciding with your opportunity to fish on a particular day have gone down.

I guess we all have to adapt to a changing world. Good luck on your next attempt at a fishing trip.

Excellent post! I feel your Pain. I"m beginning to think that my planning a fishing trip causes 25 to 35 MPH winds. I've been keeping data on it.

From the looks of your hair, I can tell you have been planning lots of trips.
The benfit of high wind fishing trips is that with proper planning, you can reduce your gas costs if you fish headed down wind, and ramp in where the wind will push you back to the ramp in the evening, having gone in when the winds wer calm in teh morning. Thats why my pontoon boat now has a spanker and a jib rigged.
