Minnows or 2-3 inch twister tail types work great. 6-8 lb test line too. Hang on. At least give your grandson some action. I'm jealous.

fished rodman this past week . didn't catch very many bass couldn't get the grass pickerel to leave us alone . crappie fished most of the time caught a bunch of nice crappie .my grandson caught one about 2.5 lbs. he was one happy camper he wanted to stay another week. lake is at full draw down now & the crappie fishin is good right now.

that sounds good cant beat that size of crappie. i will be down there the first week of march for some bass fishing, bow fishing below the dam and a few days of hog hunting. i love to fish down there.
