I have a tr186 and am very pleased with it. The two guys I fish with a lot both have rangers. One is a 18'6" and the other is a 20'. Both boats are quality boats that are great to fish out of. The rangers are heavier and are a bit more solid in the water than my Triton. The Triton is great in other areas like speed and it rides higher than the Rangers which sometimes alows me to get places that they can't. In my opinon either boat would be great as long as they are mechanically solid and not worn out.
