Tom, sorry I didn't see this sooner. I have been over to B-Ville quite often this late fall. I have not been smallie fishing though, been chasing walleye and doing quite well with them. We have had a couple over 5 pounds and my partner had a 7 pounder the other day. We have caught some smallies but were not targeting them. We have been fishing in 25-35ft. of water with a jigging spoon tipped with minnows (Bass Minnows) The white spoons seem to make a difference. We were using small hops right off the bottom. We have also caught a few on silver buddy's. The water temps just dropped under fifty this past weekend.
