Ok, I'm sending this out to all of the fishermen / fisherwomen who might visit this board. I'm asking for all non used fishing tackle, plastics, baits, jigs, anything related to fishing that you no longer need. Maybe even some of your stuff you might have gobs and gobs of that you will never use in a lifetime.
These items that are collected will be given out as grab bags to the kids one of Fishin4Kids ( Listed Member of the Board here on Fishin.com ) Fishing Derby. Without the help of all donations it wouldn't be possible for all the kids to receive something when they attend one of these fishing clinics for kids.
Any and all donations can be sent to my address:

You can email me at the following email address [email protected] or email Eddie Goode ( Fishin4Kids ) at

Hey Clyde,
I was cleaning out some of my tackle and was wondering how good the stuff has to be. I have three or four Plano plastic boxes with finess worms, grubs, Banjo Minnows, etc I probably will never use but just don't want to throw away either. It is all useable, just not new or pretty. Is that the kind of stuff you can use?
Grumpy
Yes Grumpy all that stuff will work. Everything is laid out on a big table. A working line is then done as a tackle pack is passed down the line different plastics, sinkers, floats, hooks, and other baits are put into the packs. So a worm bag with say 8 worms left over will be divided between two packs. So on and so on down the assembly line for the tackle packs.
It really doesn't matter what it is, as long as we get the tackle packs made up and delivered to the kids at the Fishing Presentations by Eddie Goode.
Thanks to all who help us out and also to those who might not be able to at this time but might again down the road.
Clyde
Clyde,
I have alot of plastics I'm going to send you. When is the Derby?![]()
Thanks Grumpy for the tackle for the kids. It's not a derby but a fishing presentation for the kids. Learn how to use Rod and Reels, learn about different tackle and so forth. But the main goal is that every kid walks away with something when they leave.
Clyde,
When is the event? What is the date that you need the stuff by:?
Grumpy

Eddie
DJD,
Thanks,
I receieved your package last night and those bags of soft plastics are great. I will break them down and make several tackle packs. What I add to the plastics (you sent) is bobbers, books, posters, stickers, road runners, sinkers and a few toys. That is a tackle pack.
Thanks again
Eddie
DJD,
Thanks for sending the tackle to Eddie, he just sent me an email telling me he received the items you sent in. It's people like you and the others who help put the big smiles on the kids faces. Thanks again from myself and Eddie.
