I'm awaiting my BPS FNF Rod that they have on sale, I need a good reel. I'm new to this FNF thing so I am looking for specifics, I'm not sure what would be the best for the job - brand, model, ect.
Thanks,
jeremy

I use the BPS Viper reel and haven't had any complaints, on 9'6 BPS micro lite rods. The reel is a little heavy but balances the combo well. I feel the drag is more important than anything, you got to have a good smooth drag.
Personal preference will play a big role as usual. Look for a real that is sturdy, casts easy, holds as much light line as possible and has back reeling capabilities. With light line, being able to back reel is as if not more important than the drag being set right.
Back reel??? I've never though of that.
