I grew up in S. Dak. WE have always used big spinners or sluggos. On Green River, I've had luck with Spooks in the early springtime in Robinson Creek. Big Toothies do kind of go in the "jumps" when the water is cool. DD 22s in a shad color also work. I don't go much now. Fish of a thousand casts. Good luck. Watch your fingers. My grandfather's hand used to get all bloody from removing a hook. The gills are sharp also. Good luck
