Ice fishing

Hey all ,
Just wondering if anyone remembers last winter when we here in southern IN had the 2 weeks of ice that you could actual go ice fishing and if you'all had any luck at some public lakes . I have 1 old and a brand new ice auger I would like to use this winter if we get any fishable ice down here . I want to scope out the best spots to freeze me kister off and at least go home with supper . Oh , and by the way MERRY CHRISTMAS !

The ICE will be here soon all the ponds are skimed over here in central In
I cant wait i will be out there on 3 inchs
I am thinking of headn up north this weekend
does anyone know how far a guy would have to go to find 3-4 inchs??


All I want for Christmas is to get on the ICE!!!

Purdy far! According to some at iceshanty.com, which is all about ice fishing, you basically have to draw a line across the state. Everything north of Fort Wayne.

I remember that. I fished once last year at tecumseh lake near Lynnville. I didnt have any luck, however it was my first time ice fishing. It was fun being out there though.
