[Devils Horse]

I had two over 20, a 19.5, four over 15, one LDR, and swung/missed 3. Drifted live bait 20-30 ft deep on river channel points. Put in at the state park and caught most fish in Ky. The water's up some since last week, very lightly stained to clear and just over 50 degrees. Stayed dry till dusk then got drenched.

Told the wife I was going to fish Barren (.5 hour away) and should be home by dark. Got to thinking about how hard them brown fish pull and decided to fish Dale (2 hours away). Didn't get home till 2.5 hours after dark. George T. said it best...Move over little dog the big dog's a movin in.

I told ya them dang brown bass make you forget all about them sissy green fish. You are officially ruint for life Jim, did you tell your boss you were sick again? Brown bass flu, its' bad ya know, really bad. Sounds like a heck of a day buddy, good job I'm glad you are catchin'em. Sounds like Sensa Rick has taught you well grasshopper.

We had 8 on Thur with 3 over 4 lbs, but we got off he water before that rain hit. It was coming down pretty good. It was great until then. We were fishing shiners on the bottom on the main lake. Mhall I see your from Lagrange. I am also. I assume that is Lagrange, Ky.

Nice job Opie, I wasn't smart as you. Stayed on till absolute dark and got danged near drowned.

Yeah Mark I've got the fever. Rick's a good guy, I really enjoyed fishing with him and learning some of his tactics. No need to make excuses this time...legit days off. I'm also off next week and I can foresee some cold hands in the near future. Cold front hammering in here tonight, then more normal winter temps next week. Unless the ramps are frozen, or I turn in to more of a big ole sissy than I already am I'll be on the water Wed and Thur. Might give the FNF a whirl and work a jig some, but I'll drown some bait too.

I'll be down Wed. thru Fri. next week. I usually put in at Hendricks Creek. There will probably be a lot of orange around the state park. I think the deer quota hunt is next week.
