Nolin Report

Don't bother going to Nolin for a while, unless you just want to compare its color with your cream & coffee colors. It was so muddy my depth finder couldn't find the bottom in places. It would read, 9 feet, 15, 20, 200, 8, 10, etc and then back again. If I stayed in shallow water it was fine but it was wierd the way it went up and down in deeper water. The temps were 45 to 48 degrees. I was fishing from Moudaurdear to the ****, saw shad popping a lot but no fish following them. At least none that wanted my lures.

I didn't really expect to catch any fish and i wasn't disappointed--more than anything, I just wanted to get the motor in the water and keep it running for a while.
