Cool Time to Relax and Ponder!

OK, there are (X) number of members on the KY board and we all share share a common interest in fishing (CATCHING), however, we are a diverse group of fisherman with different interest in fishing lakes, ponds , creeks and rivers. Thus, I thought it would be intersting to share 1st and second fishing passions.

    Thus I will go first:
    1. Sauger on the Ohio river
    2. Green Fish on Lake Barkley
    3. Brown Fish on LC or DH (OK, I know I said 2 choices, but it's hard to limit ones self!

OK, Let's hear from the rest of the board.....

    Good Fishing,
    Gary

2 - Catching LMB on crankbaits ... Summer nights .. Herrington

Too many choices. most relaxing, fishing the river, since i live between cumberland dale, just fishing, anywhere my heart tells me where to go.And I've been in many places and fished almost all the fresh water species. Two fish I cant recall, grayling, and squaw fish.Caught at least one of everything else.

    Right now:

    1. FnF fishing on Lake Cumberland or Dale Hollow
    2. Creek fishing from my kayak for smallies

    The rest of the time:
    3. Bluegill, crappie, catfish, etc....whatever is biting.

Thumbs up Re: Time to Relax and Ponder!

Hey it's not like we need extra incentive to wet a line, however, if you ever think your time might be better spent, re-read this thread and THINK AGAIN!

Thanks guys for all your input, great reading your input and good fishing to all in the new year!

Re: Time to Relax and Ponder!

    1) topwater fishing for stripers, anywhere.
    2) topwater fishing for Hybrids, anywhere.
    3) wading the creeks and fishing topwater for smallies.

Did I mention that I like to fish topwater I also find wading the creeks relaxing. If I can't catch stripers on topwater, then catching them on cranks/jigs would be right up there. Have also enjoyed hitting the surf in New England in the fall for stripers and bluefish. A lot of that is topwater action.
