Put in at Lees Ford today, water muddy and 52 deg. Started past the 80 bridge tossing cranks. First fish of the day was a 4.5 LM then a 3.5 and a 2.5. Decided to go up by the discharge plant nothing up there. Then ran up to Faubush creek . Water was clear but nothing. Went back into fishing creek and pulled to show my buddy the place I caught my smallie on the FNF. Made a cast bobber goes under, a 5+ Lm wow that was fun. So all of our fish came in dirty water. Lot of boats out today and alot of floating debris on the main lake. Had fun.![]()

Wtg Marvin not a bad day at all--that was great getting a 5 lb on the fnf again ur going to get hooked on that thing--Who did you put in my seat in the back of the boat ? GRRRRRRR----good job man![]()
It was me and my Pondhopper buddy Aaron. We had three pulldowns on the fly and one hookup. But a good hookup... If you plan to fish the fnf by yourself you better have a net. That long rod puts you at a disadvantage when you get close to the boat.![]()
Did you get any of those other fish on the madcow or on that wart? Did you get that fnf fish in the boat, bet that was trip on that long rod and you are now hooked for life!!!!
All the fish came on the wart. The fnf fish came on the Redneckshadrap fly that caught the smalljaw. My buddy landed the fish for me, gave it some flash burn with the camera and a way it goes. Good luck when you go and look for some dirty water.![]()
Just back from shopping and got some extra Warts and a second fnf rod and reel. I can see two 6lb smalljaws on at the same time on those long rods,P/S I will be out in the garage learning to reel with my toes.
Very nice day, good job.
Got on a unreal crankbait bite early so only got to fish the fly for 1 hr and 15 mins, had two pull downs that resulted in 2-12in KYs. Both fish came on a Punisher jig with a 16 foot leader.
