Talking Santa Needs Your Help_Which Rods?

Yes, we (I) need your help. Looking to buy (two) rods. One which I would set up for FNF and the other for casting light weight jigs (peanut and aspirin heads). Both would be used on clear water lakes such as Lake Cumberland and Dale Hollow.

Guidelines; MONEY IS AN OBJECT! Just need equipment which will perform and get the job done. For example, I drive a Toyota Highlander not a MBW.

    * For FNF I am thinking about a ML to M (favoring a M) 10 foot rod. I have been using an 8' 8" L action rod. Suggestions appreciated.

*For light jigs, I am thinking about a M 7-8 foot rod. Again, suggestions would be appreciated.

OR ALTERNATIVELY, Should I look into buying blanks and building my own (no experience here)?

Thanks Guys, Good Fishing & Merry Christmas to All!

Even if money were not an object, you can get a super fine FnF rod from Bass Pro Shops. Go the the link below and you can see thier FnF rods for $39. on sale for $29. on line or you can visit a store and tell them you saw the sale and they will give it to you for the on-line price. I have the 9'6" version and it casts and handles extremely well. Also, you can get other FnF needs from BPS (do a product search for Float N Fly).

PS: if you decide to buy, use the BPS link at the top of the Fishin.com page and give them credit for the referral.

I agree with Grumpy. BPS makes a very nice fnf rod. My Dad has a couple, I am getting one in a week or so. I also have a Lexus Silstar that does a great job.

I have that same Lexus 10' rod and a 9'6 BPS microlight and like them both.
