I also live close to Mammoth Cave and have fished the Green river there for many years. Trapper must have had a time fighting the current and all of the floaters.

The current was rough and there were several floaters approximately 6" under the water. I hit more stuff on Friday than I have ever have. I have been on the river when it was higher, but never remember the current being as strong. If you go, be careful, and stick to a large wide boat at this time!
