    Help with Fishfinder...

Im about to buy my first fishfinder for a small 10' boat. I'm leaning towards a portable unit on the lower end cost-wise. Cabela's and BassPro have the Hummingbird Fishin' Buddies (the 120 model with sidefinder technology for 160 bucks looked pretty good to me...) I've done some looking around, but if you guys can give me some input on this model OR whatever you recommend for a 1st time buyer, I would REALLY appreciate it.

Eagle Fishmark 320, around $150. I have had one for 3 years no problems at all. Good detail and has a temp gauge too. Hi Res screen 320 x320.

I 2nd Bassky on the Eagle 320 unit. One of the best "bang for the buck" units out there. If you need a little cheaper still, look into the FishEasy 245 or the Cuda 242. Both come in a portable version.
