    Cleaning Cork Handles

What do you think is the best method to clean the dirt and grime from the cork handles on your fishing rods?

I use dawn dishwashing liquid and that works as good as anything else I have tried.

+1 on the Magic Eraser. It just doesn't get any easier than this, and absolutely no mess to contend with.

Don't clean it, it gives character and good cover scent, but if you must alcohol works quite well.

Alcohol or hydrogen peroxide works the best because it wont leave any residue like soap will and there will be no scent left on it.
