The second week in March should be hotter than a firecracker as far as fishing is concerned. Water should be creeping into the low 60's if everythings normal. Should be a bunch of fat females shallow , real shallow feeding up getting ready to spawn. Guntersville is the most awesome lake I have ever fished. You still have to find them and then catch them but its like nothing Ive ever seen when you really find them. We have had alot of luck on traps and spinnerbaits, leave your little sissy shakey heads and spinning reals at home, the bass down there use that stuff for toothpicks.
