Thought I would update you on Elnut. As of this morning, he will not be released until next Friday at the earliest. He has to have his lung aspirated again, as he still has 2-3 liters of fluid on it, and this is causing him to be short of breath and taxing his heart. Last night, his incision from his last surgery busted open, and may be infected. They are taking cultures on it today. I was messing around on here trying to find some pictures of Dale and Lake Cumberland to put on his hospital walls, to give him something to look at. Hope you all are doing well. Thank you for your concern about Elnut. I too am wishing him home more than most. All I want for him to do is get well enough to go fishing. Then I know life will be back to normal for us.
Blessings to you all.

Man, I sure hope the good Lord will see it in his way to let Elnut heal up and get out on the water to catch some of the Big fish the Lord has hidden away for special people like Elnut. Get well my friend....

I'm amazed that this stuff is still going on. It's sad that a family has to go through this you can bet one thing for sure and that's once he is well and ready for some Lake time there will be a turnout to rival any get together....Praying for you Elnut and family.
Mrs. Elnut,
In all that Elnut, the family, and truly yourself have been through, I want to commend you in thinking the way you do and knowing that the biggest thing you could do for Elwood is to put him in the middle of something he dearly loves. My best wishes and prayers to you, Elwood and the whole family.
My thoughts and prayers are with both of you. I sure hope he gets better soon. I know how much he loves to fish!Mrs. Elnut,

I sure hope and pray all will be alright. Prayers from the Hall family. If there is something we can do just let us know.
Mrs Elnut we sure thank you for thinking of us during such troubling times and posting an update. I think most everyone thinks and pray's for Enut everyday. I know I check the board for updates every day.
I'm sure several of us could send you some fishing magazines if you would like that post an address where we can send them. If you can think of anything else we can do please let us know.

The guy's got a lot of friends on here, Mrs. Elnut, and we're all pulling hard for him. I've had the pleasure of fishing with El, and sincerely hope he's ready for the water soon. Best of luck to a good fisherman and a good guy.
Our home address is 200 Saratoga Court, Georgetown, KY 40324.
I had actually asked my brother-in-law for some this week, just because all I can find is hunting magazines right now. I know he will look at them, and if anyone wants their magazines back, just send me your address, and we will return them.
Blessings
Mrs. Elnut
