    Re: Opinions on boat seats!

I would never buy one untill I found one in a old building and picked it up just to try. I loved it until I found a screw someone had replaced in the bottom when I bounced over a wake. Now that the screw is shorter,It stay's on the front unless I'm bobber watchin with the youngins. The smaller seat doesn't have to be moved to run down the lake either.

Talking Re: Opinions on boat seats!

I use my seat when the water is rough. Other than that it stays in the garage. I like to stand and have room to fight the fish freeley around the boat. Once the seat is in position it screws in so you dont have to worry about removing it for a run down the lake. And its tall and skinny so it doesn't decrease your feild of vision when making a run. If your boat has the base installed in it already, borrow a seat from someone and fish one full day with it and one without. It is a must when the wind is 25+ and waves. When I'm fishing in calm I stand on 1 leg and the other is always on the tolling motor. When its rough you can sit/lean on the seat and spread your legs out a little kinda like a tri-pod.(Stability) Hope this helps. Where are you at?, You can borrow mine if you want to try it??
