Went out yesterday bout noon. Fished nothing but the jig all day. Started out with a black and blue had no hits the first hour and a half. Switched to a pumpkin with chartrousse (sorry bout the grammer) and ended the day with 4 smallies and 2 lm. Only had one smallmouth that was a keeper. Weighed 3 and a half pounds. First smallie though. Fished manly points. Straight across from flatwoods.

Great job! Was there some stain to the water?

It was the same as it usually is. A little stain to it. Caught most of the fish about 25 feet a water behind points.
