The river is still a bit high for my taste, monday it should be fishable from the bank.

Your pond/lake may be frozen over a bit, but I have "broken" out some places with a 2 oz. sinker and done really well this time of year.

Yep too cold 4 me as well, but has anyone really noticed the time it's getting dark now since Jan. 1st has come and gone. Start subtracting 1 minute from the time the sun comes up and you'll notice it gets daylight earlier each day. Plus add 1 minute to the time it gets dark and see the difference in how long the sun stays up now. It was after 6:00 pm before it got totally dark last night. Spring is in the air and on it's way.....

Oh Yeah! I work 12 hr. shifts, 6a-6p, and we've gotten through that yearly stretch where it's dark when I'm going to work AND when I'm coming home.
