Pam cooking spray works well for me, but it gets pretty sticky if you don't wipe it off when your done. Just spray on rod guides and your good to go, I don't believe that I would do it on my reels just because of the mess.

Once the weather gets below freezing my rules are:

1. leave the baitcaster at home
2. bring a fire starter (when fishing from bank )
3. see no. 1

I believe that I will be at Cannelton saturday morning early to get a good spot to sauger fish. Should be pretty crowded
