We had one of our best days on Dale a couple of weeks ago. Early morning I would fish grass points close to deep water and that are adjacent to or near the channel, or channel bluff. I would fish bluffs that are in the shade, look for any signs of slides and be sure to fish these spots. We were mainly throwing shiners, but first fish came on float and fly. I think we were really on some fish and they would have hit about anything. If you can be sure to fish early morning that is when we had our most success. Good luck.
