Equipment needed on the Ohio

Need to know what safety equipment I need in my boat while fishing the Ohio. Besides what the states require do we need flares and flags?

The same basic stuff as any body of water here in Kentucky. Paddle 4' or longer. Fire Extinguisher, Pfd for all bodies onboard, Proper tags and registration, dip pale or working bilge pump, Throw floation cushion. Working navigational lights on stern and bow if operating after or before dark. I'm sure I missed one or two, LOL.
