I will be heading out to visit my brother in Evansville next weekend and may be able to convince him to try the Newburgh dam area. If you plan on fishing Newburgh Dam from the bank, you will need to drive over to the Kentucky side and fish on the "wing wall". If you are in a boat, then you can launch at either or these two Indiana ramps; Newburgh (unless the river comes up) or Angle Mounds. Neither ramp has a dock this time of the year, so be prepared to deal with the current getting the boat in and out of the water! As a last resort, you can launch out of the Alcoa dock at Yankeetown into the creek, then go down river and lock through the Newburgh dam.
