Somebody actually broke the ice to get up the creek on Wed. I'd like to see them do it now. Solid ice, saw an otter on the ice this afternoon.

Yeah, had one of my truck drivers give me a visual on it Friday...he said unless I was packing an auger, that it was a little too "solid" for a run.

The Elkhorn is frozen in the shade and out the wind spots. The windy spots are open. All the dams release areas are not frozen over.

I'll be playing around down there somewhere in the AM,.
