Most Walmarts, even here which is 4 hours north of the lakes, carry Fishing Hot Spots maps of both lakes.

A few years ago we had a map with the water depths for Barkley. I wasn't able to find one last year. Do you all know where I can get a good map. I remember it was a very detailed map of the lake in Eddyville area that showed how deep the water was, where stumps were, brush piles, etc.
Thanks so much.

The best paper map of the lake as far as I am concerned is the Atlantic GPS map...most recent of all paper maps...you can get this map in any tackle shop down here...The Cabin Bait and Tackle should be the closest to where you are going..it is located on U.S. 62, just a few miles west of the Kuttawa Exit on I-24. If you want to see where the cover is really located I would recommend you purchase the Kentucky Hydrografx side scan map of Eddy Creek. This map is on cd...you can print sections out on your computer and also get the gps coordinates off the map of your cover. You can order this map by clicking on their ad on this site which located on the left side of the Kentucky Lake fishing report page.
Dave is right about the Atlantic GPS map. It is a really good map and the Hydrographix maps are also awesome....... If you cant find a map near where you live and dont want to wait till you get down here E-mail me with your mailing adress and i can get 1 in the mail to you
Kylakenitro - I sent you my email address.
Thanks so much everyone.
Another vote here for the Atlantic map. Dave S. suggested I buy this map, and I got one last week. I have had the hot spots map, and used it for a few years and thought is was good - until I picked this one up. I studied it all weekend - very detailed and up to date.
