Yea, I caught my two right on the outer fringe edge of the massive crowd. However after I caught those two, I got some quick company. lol.My father-in-law and I came down as well. Quite a spectacle...it wasn't hard to tell where the sauger were. We went downstream a couple hundred yards from the crowd, but didn't do any good. We rode over to the locks to see if we had any chance of getting on to Shippingport Island. In the words of the security guard, "That's all a thing of the past now." Either way, it was a nice day to get out of the house for a while and enjoy the sun.
I was afraid of that Mark, That's why I'm in the boat Fri. and the main reason I don't go on the weekends. Kinda liken it in the 20's, I only saw a handfull a people last Fri...Chuck
I'll call ya Chuck, it was still fun to be out and at least I managed a couple, beats a goose egg I guess.
This is exactly why I love fishing during the week, and I try to stay away on the weekends. It gets crazy sometimes at the dams on the weekends. Cannelton isn't too bad sometimes, but I hate people that see you catching fish and get right up beside you.
