If you are in a boat, then you can launch at either or these two Indiana ramps; Newburgh (unless the river comes up) or Angle Mounds. Neither ramp has a dock this time of the year, so be prepared to deal with the current getting the boat in and out of the water! As a last resort, you can launch out of the Alcoa dock at Yankeetown into the creek, then go down river and lock through the Newburgh dam.

Thanks for the info Gary but I was thinking of fishing the Cannelton area with a boat. Is there a ramp at Cannelton? Was thinking of driving over to the falls but the thought of shoulder to shoulder changed my mind real quick.
