zooms finesse worms or robo's for me
exodus baits has some high quality hand poured plastics that have some great movement, as i matter of fact, i have used their straight tail and floating worm both as a shakey head and have been pleased with both
Try a 4.5 Flirt Worm from Reaction Innovations. Great action on a shakyhead!
Watermelon, Roadkill, any green color works great. Also Netbait has a finesse worm that works well too.
Bassky
The flirt worm mentioned above is a good choice, with a lot of good color options.
Roboworm in the newer FAT tails 4.5" or 6", it is a great handpour and completely floats.
I also like to use just a Zoom Finesse worm, the fish like it too.
Tubes, beaver, and craw baits look good and catch fish on a shakey head as well.
I like the PowerBait worms also. Forbin look in the basspro shops catalog they have a Chompers shaky worm kit with a 100 6" worms that are really good natural colors that i like alot for fishing here at home.
Try a Gitem Baits Warlock, it is becoming one of the hottest baits in the South and they work here, they also have a small Lil Flapper that is deadly, check them out at gitembaits.com.
Thanks for the resopnses. I will definitely give some of those a try. I just got some awesome new shaky head/jig heads that are made locally here in Western Ky - they are made by SLONGS. I haven't fished them yet, but they really do look good - good, wide gap hooks with the screw in head. He had several differnt styles Football heads, fishy type heads with eyes all with awesome paint. I don't know where all they will sell them here but, Fisherman's Headquarters in Draffenville got a bunch in - that store is awesome.
i like the robo worm..... martins magic is the color but another thing i have found that works real well is get the d and l shakey head that screws in and put it on a tube and that works good.... and even i put the paca craws on a shakey head too.... its deadly just match the hatch is what i do.....
