Re: what works in the winter????

if it's been a steady cold where the temps are staying at 40 or less with little fluctuating i like the the slow stuff.road runners and larger crappie tubes have caught good fish for me in the winter.when it has been this cold with the water in the 34 degree range and a warm rain comes in like they say is coming can turn a spinnerbait and crankbite wide open.fish where the water is running in.i was out this evening walking around a pond and saw a fish hit something just under the surface, and there were some right on the bank.I always throw a crank or jerkbait suspender just work it slow.
