fished for 2 hrs before sideways rain and lightning ran me off the lake. boated one fish 19in smallie that weighed ~4.25#. float and fly amongst a monster school of threadfin. temps in the 43-44 degree range and mild stain on lake. several runs in already moving water BEFORE the deluge here today. attempting to head back out tomorrow before the next front. hopefully the wind will "only" be in the 20mph range. chance of gusts to 40mph by afternoon!!

midlake - jig out for only ~15min in some brushpiles i know about. no takers.
