Going to LC this weekend.

I am finally getting to go to the lake this weekend after not going for several months. I am thinking about what to bring right now. I guess i might have to bring the bass rods the float-n-fly stuff and the striper gear. I will be staying up in somerset but i will pretty much launch anywhere on the lake and not afraid to drive down to Dale. Any suggestions on where i should go. I am thinking that up around somerset is going to be muddy and i don't think i want to fish in that area. I usually go out of conley bottoms but i don't know if that will be far enough down the lake to get away from the mud. I am just wondering if i should go down towards the dam or if the water is ok to stay up closer to conley or somerset. Also has anyone done any good lately on bass or stripers? I will give a report when i get back and if you don't want to say anything on here feel free to PM me. Thanks guys.

would head down lake but by weekend expect dirty water everywhere. it has been raining cats and dogs on and off today. see recent posts by myself. fnf and or jig for bass. live bait best for stripers - they are gorging themselves on shad currently. bring your snowsuit - cold weather by weekend!
