rickhise;
There is now a prop made for houseboats, made by Propco. These props have what is called a "reverse hook cup" meaning they do real well in reverse. Here is a webpage for your engine or you can call these guys ane they will help ya choose one. They are very reasonably priced imo. I have a set of these on my HB, and there is a huge difference in the reverse power from my old props.
For an outboard of that size I would guess a 14x11 or 14x10 with the reverse hook cup. I think 10 or 11 pitch is what they run on the boats at HCR. They have also started using these Propco props, and the guys that drive them around the dock daily will tell you there is a lot of difference in reverse with them. Here is the link, go to the botom of the page for your size motor. Hope this helps with your decision, I don't think you'll be sorry using one of these.
