Ranger boats

which series of ranger boats are supposed to be the fastest?i have a friend in our bass club that has an "R" series with a 175 hp and he tells me the boat will run with anything on the water with the same hp engine.he says the "R" series is a lighter boat.thanks

an allison or bullet 20xd with a 175,he wouldn't stay close enough to smell their exhaust seriously though no ranger has ever been built to race,just ride you from hole to hole,from what i see on bbc i'd say the zseries are the fastest.

Way wrong on that one! Rangers are made to ride good and be comfortable---not speed.

I agree. Ranger is the Lincoln Navigator of bass boats...they're made for comfort and style.
