Winter Slip at Dale

Hey........

Does anyone offer winter rates for a slip at Dale Hollow.

I'm looking for somewhere for next year, to park my boat "on the water" from November thru March on Dale Hollow. I'd like to find some marina that is still open during the winter months. Somewhere where I can charge up, etc, etc........

Anyone else do this?

i always go to wisdom dock and put in and there is always some one down there and they have covered docks and such... just talk to tom or paul.... go to www.wisdomdock.com and there will be some contact info adn such.... they are pretty good people.. i come in one night from night fishing and it was in the summer and i had a slip rented for the weekend and i forgot and left my wallet setting in my seat and my boat and i got to lookin and i couldnt find it so i ran out to the boat it was past noon by then and there it set with people walkin to and from all around the boat and nothing was bothered.... i think they have a guy who lives there too to kinda watch things over.....

I rented one a few years back and the only Marina that would rent me a slip just through the winter months was Hendricks Marina. It was a covered slip. I wanted on the upper end of the lake. Out of about 4-5 phone calls to Marina's that was it. The state dock now with thier renovations may be ready to rent a slip, they are going to have several extra real soon.

They apparently lost a ton of State money so I wonder if they'll be able to build a parking lot to accommodate the increase.

I have a boat there, and Hendricks will rent you a slip month to month. Not sure if there is any discount for winter rate though. Call 270-433-7172 and ask for Tim.
