    Re: fishin and relationships

Man I will have to agree I have it bad also,my wife complains every time I go fishing if I don't bring home any fish to eat! She will get up with me and make sure I have lunch and coffee to take with me. Ever now and then she will let me take her truck and usually sends me off with my love tank full. The only thing she ever says is I should take the girls more. AND NO SHE IS TAKEN AND ISN'T FOR TRADE.

Does she think that's time you could have spent working around the house, or being with her? Does she maybe think there's "shenanigans" going on? It may be hard to drag out of her, but I'd try and figure out what's really bothering her, and address that. And try not be confrontational about it. the only time we are apart is when i'm at work.as far as discusssing anything well lets just say she thinks the louder she is the better i hear her.she has no problem it's me..personally i refuse to argue and scream about it..i wanted to go to first shift i'd be home by 3 pm and figured we could try the family thing during the week when i wanted to fish, her opinion, she can't stand to be around me that much we''d be divorced for sure. see the confusing mess here, there is no solution i can find....what the heck...

    Re: fishin and relationships

I divorced over two years ago, and I have two young children. Things between us were not working out. So instead of staying and being miserable, we divorced. Yes, almost two hundred dollars a week comes out of my check for child support, but happiness goes a LONG way. My wife now does not bitch or complain when I am fishing. Sometimes she even goes. Everyone needs away time. No two ways about that. Do what you think is best. There is only one person who can make that choice.

Well, best of luck to you, however things work out. Everybody needs, and deserves, a little time alone once in a while.
