My wife and I rarely have an issue about me going fishin. Her biggest complaint is that I sleep too late (night fish all summer) when I go. I have to admit I probably don't go nearly as much as a lot of you guys do but when I'm not fishing, I do something else that has me away from the house and spending some amount of money. I am usually gone doing something at least 1/2 a day each weekend.

On the other hand, one of my buddies has to get permission from his wife before he can go and they usually fight about it. It is his ONLY hobby so I can't see why she complains so much.

This thread makes me think I am going to get my wife more flowers than I originally planned for today.
