I can remember many Presidents day in the past when I was able to catch several bass on Rough River. Water temps would be in mid 40's. **** this weather cycle, I need to get out.

Sure you can catch fish in cold muddy water---Back a some years ago me and a buddy was down at Cumberland after a long run up the lake my beard was solid ice when we got to where we were going to fish main lake up around the dam pure muddy water an 40 degree water i got a few good smallmouth that day--never to muddy or cold to catch some fish--
