    Early Time Change

Does anyone think that the early time change this year will have an effect on the spring time fishing? People think Im crazy but, I think it will bring the white bass run earlier and will have an effect on the bass when they go on the nest. I know that the water temperature and the barometeric pressure plays a big role on how fish react, but it seems that with more daylight we have it will happen sooner than normal. It has to have some kind of effect.

No bearing on the bass whatsoever...the amount of daylight for the critters will be exactly the same...I promise!

Them fishies don't wear a Timex...

I guess it is a good thing I am in the Central time zone, so the bass will have more time to adjust. I think bass typically have a harder time adjusting to the fall time change - it is hard to get used to it being dark before the 6:00 news.

If you make a long run in a tournament and take the fish far away from where they were caught, when you release them they will have boat lag. Ryan.

well look at it like this buddy we lose one hour of sleep to make it to the lake at daylight thats all..... no other countries but the US has a time change we done it during the depression to boost the economy so that work time starts at daylight and ends at dusk........

I'm not going to change the clock in the boat so I can keep on catching them. Then my clock and theirs will match. I will be there when the dinner bell rings!

It will only effect the fish in restaurants like McDonalds that don't start serving lunch until after 10 am.
