Nothing should be thrown in the water. I can't imagine why anyone would ever even consider throwing anything in a lake or out the window of a car. I guess it has something to do with how you were raised or not so much raised.
Yes, plastic is deffenitly a big problem. As you all know I fish the river and it is amazing the amount I see.In the winter after the trees lose there leaves and the river rises then falls the plastic in the trees looks like tinsel...I brought this to the attention of one of my fishing buddie's one day and after he started looking around, he could'nt believe the amount left,it's hard to believe the fish can still live in this enviroment. And thank god they stop putting Big Mac's in styrofoam cantainers. As far as line goes I try to pack out as much as I find plus I ussually get free lead. Tell me why we have people sitting in jail watching cable TV and our rivers and lakes are neglected??? Sorry to rant but this has been a real sore spot for me for years...
